Draft Filming and Editing Schedule
Sunday 8th of October – On this day we plan to try and film a couple of short scenes where we will later be able to edit these together so the characters transition on the screen to the beat. This will be in the location of the Park.
Sunday 15th of October – On this day we plan to film the majority of the performance in the music video. We will be using the location of Ellie’s Shed to film this in as we believe it reflects garages that other bands have used in their music video. We will also be carrying on the filming in the location of the park where we are filming the older characters.
Monday 16th of October – On this day we will upload all of our footage we have obtained so far onto the Apple Macs at school. We will not be editing as we will not have enough footage.
Saturday 28th of October – On this day it will be the first day of filming with the younger characters, we hope to film the small performance part that the younger characters have and also we hope to film their scenes in the park. We also want to film the scene where the older characters look over to the left and there is a flashback moment where they see their younger selves.
Sunday 29th October – On this day we will be carrying on what we started on Saturday and adding the final touches to the music videos. We may also shoot some silly shots where they younger characters are messing around as this could be used in the real piece. We will also be using the forest as a scene where we will shoot the younger children running on one side and then the older characters running on the other side.
Monday 30th October – On this day we will be going to Maldon. In Maldon, we will get shots of the younger characters playing in the park. We will also be going to the roller-skating rink where we will be shooting the older characters with a few scenes of the younger characters as flashback scenes.
Tuesday 31st October – On this day we will upload all of our footage to the Apple Macs. And we will then begin to sort all of our performance footage and our remaining footage into the order of occurrence.
Wednesday 1st November – On this day we will edit the footage adding extra effects on the flashbacks so this will, therefore, make this clearer.
Thursday 2nd November – On this day we will carry on the editing process and hopeful be close to finishing.
Friday 3rd November – On this day is our deadline so we, therefore, hope to only add the finishing touches to the music video.
This plan had changed a lot due to external commitments and also finding the time where our actresses where available. This became very difficult and hard to coordinate, but luckily we had a half term which helped us with our availability without school commitments.
